Hi there! I’m Lauren, and I’m so excited you’re here!
I’m based out of Falls Church, Virginia, and have so much joy bringing a smile to others with my macarons! I grew up with a severe nut allergy, and since macarons are made with almond flour, I wasn’t able to bake or even eat a macaron for much of my life. One of my husband’s favorite desserts is macarons, so when I grew out of my almond allergy, I knew I just had to try making them! We made them together one rainy day and I fell in love with baking them! I haven’t stopped since.
Because of my nut allergy, I take allergen safety very seriously. I cannot guarantee there’s no cross-contamination, as I do not currently work in a dedicated gluten-free kitchen, but all macarons contain no gluten, and cooking materials and surfaces are cleaned thoroughly if used for gluten. Whether you have food sensitivities or allergies, you can rest assured that I’m as careful as possible in my baking process. My goal is to create delicious treats that everyone can enjoy without worry. I know how challenging and scary it can be to navigate life with allergies, so I truly want to remove those fears and make moments of joy accessible to all!
All our macarons are gluten-free and made with almond flour. We take pride in ensuring that appliances and utensils are cleaned thoroughly and that every macarons is made with care.
